The Captivating Corners of Coron

If you’re dreaming of that perfect nature getaway, reward yourself with a trip to one of the Philippines‘ islands that’s abundantly graced with precious wonders. It’s quite convenient to take a flight directly from Cebu and Manila to Coron Island in Busuanga for an hour or so.

I haven’t been to Ha Long Bay in Vietnam, but we have our own version here and that’s called Kayangan Lake.

It would be great to stay longer at the lake but we had 8 more destinations for that day, so we’re looking forward to an exclusive boat ride for only P1,800.00 the next time we visit here.

The second destination that I loved the most is the Twin Lagoon. Though we had to swim a few meters to reach this place together with the group of tourists, we all shouted with joy and awe when we finally got into the lagoon. You know why? You could be both in a cold and hot water at one time! We have the same question:  how is that possible? The answer is that – the twin lagoon is composed of both salt water and fresh water, and it’s the salt water that makes it cold and the freshwater that makes it hot. Isn’t it amazing?!  Unluckily though, I wasn’t able to capture a photo by the lagoon. So, I’ll just show you some photos of other places we’ve visited there.

You better visit Coron once in your lifetime and I’m sure you will thank yourself for that treat! See you all in my next trips!
